Interpreter Qualifications

Interpreting - Bill ClintonInterpreters that work for SLISA are carefully screened for Certification and skill. We require interpreters to be certified by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct. We also accept National Association of the Deaf (NAD) certified level 4 and 5 and EIPA level 3 - 5 interpreters which are placed in appropriate educational assignments. Interpreters that are interested in working with us can email a resume, copy of certification and one of our staff will make an appointment for an interview. SLISA has experienced interpreters that specialize in :

  • Corporate - Computer technology and business trainings

  • Conferences

  • Legal - attorney client consultations, depositions

  • Educational settings - K- 12 , community college and university
