Roseanne is an experienced interpreter and trainer in Northern California. She has worked for over 25 years as an interpreter specializing in medical/mental health interpreting . With her experience and extensive knowledge of the interpreting business she began as a small practice working with health care providers and advocating for the use of interpreters and clear communication in the medical setting. SLISA has grown into an active well respected interpreter referral agency providing top rated services to business, healthcare and educational settings. Roseanne believes it’s important to give back to the community and partners with local non-profits, deaf community agencies, interpreter organizations (SAVRID) to support the integration of deaf persons and interpreting services into the local community.

Debbi Diamond  DEBBI DIAMOND, CI/CT , Ohlone ITP Graduate - Interpreter and Scheduling Coordinator.
Debbi brings many years of multi-tasking experience,interpreting and leadership roles to the agency. After years of travel to several countries around the world and a natural affinity for languages and culture, she became immersed in ASL and Deaf Culture. Her experience as a scheduler for a Bay Area agency and knowledge of what is needed as an interpreter out in the community, enables her to incorporate what is needed to ensure smooth and successful communication for clients and interpreters. Debbi works as a freelance interpreter when she is not in the office, and has specialized in Mental Health and Educational interpreting. Her life experience as a mother of five and grandmother of 7 (and counting..) give an extra sense of patience and humor to her work in the community and coordinating.

Tammy Bradford Tammy Bradford, CI/CT, American River College, ITP Graduate, Interpreter and Scheduling Coordinator.

Since she graduated from the ITP, Tammy has worked as freelance community interpreter, VRS and in educational settings.  She has served as Treasurer, for the Sacramento Valley Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (SAVRID), and as volunteer interpreter coordinator, for students in the ITP. She has a background in financial operations, and experience in marketing, which required attention to detail. These skills, in addition to her connection to the Deaf, and interpreting community, make her an asset to SLISA.

Teresa Sedano Teresa Sedano, CI/CT, Northern Arizona University Graduate-Interpreter and Scheduling Coordinator. After working as Interpreter Coordinator in Arizona for the past five years, Teresa is thrilled to return to the Sacramento area and Deaf community which she considers “home”. Having completed the ITP program at American River College in 1991, Teresa continued to pursue her love of interpreting and combining it with her passion for theatre by establishing “StageSigns, Inc”, a non-profit organization which provided interpreting for theatrical productions from 1999-2003. Outside of her job as Scheduling Coordinator for SLISA, Teresa is enjoying free lance work along with focusing on her new business, “Healthy CEUs for Sign Language Interpreters” which provides opportunities to earn professional continuing educational units with a focus on healthy maintenance and longevity for our profession.
